RTx: Repeater Transmitter

General Description

This transmitter is designed as a high power repeater unit for point to multipoint distribution of up to 1000 MHz (1 GHz) of analog or digital modulation. It is air cooled and can be fitted with amplifiers having up to 50 watts of output power. The unit is intended to be roof top or tower mounted, and comes in a white powder coated cabinet. Range is from 3-6 miles, depending on antenna, frequency, receiver, and environment.

Included equipment:

• Upconverter assembly to convert 1.5-2.5 GHz IF up to your desired RF frequency
• Computer-stabilized microwave local oscillator, TWT amplifier and associated power supplies
• Antenna assembly with horn (various beamwidths available), or omnidirectional antenna optional
• 36" stainless steel tripod with pan/tilt mechanism for mounting
• RF cables for connection to the signal source (normally a link receiver or HPTx)
