| This system will be used to demonstrate the LMDS
technology to the Korean licensees. The system is capable of providing internet
and other data services using the 27 GHz LMDS band for both forward and reverse
paths. The bi-directional (full duplex) data speed using the modems provided,
is in excess of 3 Megabits per second. The photo on the right shows the
subscriber equipment displaying streaming motion video. The photo below shows
the data demonstration transmitter and receiver. This equipment is intended for
indoor demonstration applications only. |
