This 49-channel transmitter was manufactured by Dudley Lab in 1992, and was used until 1993 to demonstrate the LMDS technology. In addition to the 49-channel transmitter, Dudley Lab manufactured the first point-to-point microwave link for the LMDS industry. This link was used during the same time period.
The 8" dish antenna shown here is the very first ever built for LMDS applications. This antenna was designed and developed in 1992 by Dudley Lab, and remains in production today for many LMDS/CS applications. Most of the other equipment displayed on this page is not currently in production. It is depicted here for historical purposes only.
